A Dinner Blessed

Today Josh and I had planned on going out to celebrate our 4th anniversary, which isn't until tomorrow, by going out to dinner at Kobe. Earlier today I got a notice that our gas is going to be shut off soon so when Josh got home he was really debating whether or not we were going to go out. He almost decide to go to Applebee's instead because Kobe is a little more expensive but it was Kobe's fried rice that won him over. When we got there we were seated with an older couple at one end of the table and two girls on the other so we were seated in the middle closer to the older couple. Kobe is kinda like Benihana where they prepare the food on a teppanyaki grill and you enjoy watching them prepare it as almost as much as you do eating it. Josh and I always talk to the people sitting next to us so we strike up a conversation with them. Josh tells them that it's our anniversary and that we have two little girls and they talk to us about their grandkids and enjoy our dinner. After dinner is done out come the cooks and waiters with a drum, clapping, and present us with a dessert of fried ice cream and they sing us a song in Japanese. Before they leave they take a picture of us and come back with that picture in a setting that says "Congratulations". The waitress presents the table with the checks but only has two instead of three. Josh asks her where ours is and she says that the nice couple we have been chatting it up with got it! We were blown away by their generosity. The gentleman failed to tell us his name but his wife had an RN badge which had her name on it and their last name was Richardson. After they left Josh was like "I think that was Bill Richardson, he owns one of the Honda dealerships". I still can't believe that we got blessed like that. We kept saying that if we were ever in a position like that we would have done the same thing. I thank God for people like that. Now we can take care of our bill and Josh will still have gas for work this week. It was definitely a dinner blessed.
