Weeks 21 & 22 - Sick & Wedding In Iowa

This last week I have been attacked by seasonal allergies that turned into a head cold, no fun. It really stinks since I can't take anything for it. So during the night I would put some Vick's Vapor Rub on and that did miracles! I think I am finally getting to the last few days of this crap. What really stinks is that I got my little girl sick too.

Also this past week Josh, Rachel, and I went to Iowa for his sister, Brittany's, wedding. We left on Wednesday and got there around midnight. Right before we got to his parents we had dinner and Burger King and Josh had a bite of a sandwich that didn't taste too good to him. Shortly after that we got sick to his stomach. Soon he was attacked by stomach cramps and we thought he had food poisoning. Needless to say he didn't do much. Thursday Rachel and I went with Vonda, Brittany, and Megan to the wedding spot to go over some last minute details, it was in the middle of no where surrounded by corn and fields of other stuff. When we got home Rachel had a runny nose and was obviously not feeling good. Friday Josh was still not feeling good. We decided to stay home while everyone went to the Rehearsal dinner so Dwayne made sure I had his number in case Josh got worse. About 8 that night I called him and had him come and take Josh to the E.R. He was bending over in pain and could barely hold Rachel anymore. We really didn't have the money to go but I wanted to make sure that he was OK. Vonda and I were worried that he might have a blockage or gall bladder problems. Rachel and I stayed home, I didn't want to risk getting anyone else sick or picking up something worse at the E.R. Josh came home around 1030 and the doctors had ran some blood tests and urine tests and did an x-ray and said that he had flu of the colon. Never heard of that before, they said that he needed to be on a clear liquid diet for 24 hours. That helped and he felt better on Saturday, the day of the wedding.

Britt's wedding was beautiful. It was outside and a pretty day, a little winding, but pretty still the same. I was worried that Rachel would be screaming during the ceremony but she ended up falling asleep on me right when it started. She had a good half hour nap. I think being pregnant made my emotions run wild, I was crying over everything. Watching Josh and Ryan walk him mom down the aisle to get seated, hearing Britt and Chris's vows, and when they were announced husband and wife all made me cry! Crazy. It was weird being pregnant and having to take care of a toddler during the reception too. I didn't get to drink or really mingle much but I still enjoyed it.

So that was Iowa!

More on the pregnancy part, I have been feeling this little girl kick and punch me and wiggling all over the place like crazy lately! I have a feeling that I am going to have 2 very active little girls. Oh well, more fun for me!
