Last week was my baby girl's 2nd birthday! I can't believe that it's already 2 years since I gave birth to this beautiful girl. Rachel has blessed me more than I could ever put into words, my world will never be the same. Thank you God for allowing me to be mommy to the most amazing child, I am so honored to be called mommy by her.
We didn't have a big party for her this year, the main reason why is because we weren't sure if we were going to be in town for it or not. So Rachel and I went to the Church of Rock Creek and played in their play tubs with the kiddos from the playgroup. We got tacos for lunch and had Jello cheesecake for dessert. It was a sweet day spent with my princess doing her favorite things. Maybe next year we will be able to do something big for her, especially since she will have a little sister then.
The next day she had her 2 year check up at the doctors and it went very well. She is 35 1/4 inches tall (85%) and 24.8 lbs (25%) so she is tall and lean, exactly where she needs to be. The doctors says that she seems to be developing right on track, since she is close to jumping, can kick and throw a ball, she is also starting to recognize letters and numbers. It was very nice to hear that I was doing a good job in being mommy.

I just have to say that I so incredibly blessed to be your mommy. My world has changed dramatically with you in it and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Hearing you call me "mommy" and getting your sweet hugs and kisses just melts my heart. I am looking forward to watching you grow into a beautiful little girl and woman. I love you.

Oh, the years go by so quickly! It IS hard to believe that Rachel is 2 years old already! That time seemed to have flown by in a flash! Just cherish every moment you have with your little ones! You're a wonderful mommy! Happy Birthday little "love bug"!
