The Answer We've All Been Waiting For...

It's a....GIRL!!!

I had my 20 week check up and Josh came with me since he had missed the first ultrasound the doctor said that she would do another one if he came. We were able to get one and found out that we are going to be blessed with another little girl. At first we thought she was a boy but when we got closer you could see the lines and we knew she was our little Jolene.

We've had all our baby names picked out for a while and we decided if we were to have another girl her name would be Jolene Elizabeth. Joleen is a family name, it's Josh's mom and sister's middle name and I think it is even deeper in the family too. I really like it spelled like Jolene so that's how we're going to spell hers. We love keeping family names in our little family.

We were a little let down that we are having another girl, we really thought she was a boy but I am very happy that Rachel and this little girl get to experience the wonderful sister bond. I love my sister and wanted Rachel to get a chance to share that and now she does! Maybe next time we will have a boy. Definitely makes planning for her a lot easier since we still have everything from when Rachel was a newborn. Now the main things we need are diapers and maybe a few new outfits for her to claim as her own.

My Dearest Little Jolene,
I am so excited to know who has been kicking me all over. Know that we love you and are so excited to have you a part of our lives. We did want a boy but know that doesn't make us mad that you aren't. I am SO happy to have YOU! God decided to bless us with another little sweetheart. You are going to love your big sister and I know she will love you too. I can't wait to snuggle you in my arms and cover you with my kisses. I love you little girl very much. Continue to grow healthy and strong. I love you!
