One More Month and She's ONE!!!

How in the world is she almost one year old? I know I have been slacking on the blogging, been very busy with the littles and crafting :)

Joleen has just blossomed over last few months. She just smiles all the time and is determined to do whatsoever her big sister does. If Rachel is doing anything on my computer Joleen is right beside her trying to do the same thing. Along with trying to do everything that big sissy does, Joleen tries to do anything! She is my little daredevil. She climbs on anything and everything and will dive head first over something to get to the other side, for example Rachel's 4-wheeler.

If there is something Joleen wants Joleen gets, at least that is what she thinks, the second I take whatever it is that she shouldn't be playing with away she just screams. She has an on and off switch that is just so easy do flip. One minute she's happy go lucky ans the next she is screaming at you like it's the end of the world. Very different than Rachel. I think she has a little bit of mommy in her ;)

Joleen has this new love of putting things over her head, it could be a towel or clothes or anything that she thinks needs to be around her head it is. She just laughs! Too cute.

She also has become a little tyrant and tornado. Everything that she can get her hands on is immediately thrown to the floor. My house will never be clean again.

Going along with the being determined thing, Joleen is ready to walk. She practically runs around the couch and holds onto anything that will give her support. She just hasn't found her balance yet otherwise I think she'd be walking on her own now.

Watching Rachel and Joleen grow up with each other is one of the sweetest and best parts about being mommy. Rachel is by far one of the best big sisters, she just loves Joleen so much. She plays with her all the time, she's wrap her arms around Joleen and pull her into her lap and just tickle her and kiss her all over. If Joleen is upset Rachel tried to calm her down. And Joleen just adores her older sister as well. Joleen will come up and grab her and try to tickle her or play with her. I bought Joleen a little toothbrush of her own since she has her 2 little teeth :) and every night she "brushes" her teeth with Rachel. Every night Joleen bops Rachel with her toothbrush, I think she's saying "Hey! look, I'm doing the same thing as you!"
I would not trade my life for anything. God has blessed me tremendously with these little beauties. Thank you.
