Eeewww! My Little Girl is 22 Months Old!

Ew is my new favorite word that Rachel uses. She has come up with all kinds of new words this last week. Her vocabulary is growing as fast as she is. Just this last week she has started saying:
  • teeza (pizza)
  • dee-oh (burrito)
  • sh-ow (shower)
  • eeewww (for absolutely everything that is somewhat yucky or wet)
  • ow!
  • bite
  • hand
  • back
  • sea-al (cereal)
  • all done
I'm sure there are plenty more but my preggo brain is a little fuzzy at the moment. She is also asking a million questions. I love it and I don't at the same time. I love the fact that she is questioning this and trying to understand what is going on around her but what annoys me is when it's the same question 30 million times about the same thing. Oh well, I love my little chatter box. Josh and I both have a feeling that she will one that loves to talk and tell elaborate stories when she gets older.
This past month our friend Kevin gave Rachel a pool and we have been spending a lot of time there. It's big enough that I can play with her in there. One of these days I will need to bring my camera and take some pictures of in her cute little swimsuit. I am really enjoying it because for the first time in 3 years I actually have some color on my white self! I love it!

So, Rachel and I have been having some problems with taking naps the last little while and I finally decided that I need to get her into a schedule or I am going to go insane when the new baby comes. This last week I have been making her take on around 2 - 2:30pm everyday and it has really paid off. Since I have been consistently putting her to bed she is now starting to get sleepy around 2 on her own. Right now we are watching a movie and she when to her room and grabbed her blanket and it snuggled up with it on the couch getting ready for her nap. I love it. I know that is going to help later on. I am really enjoying the 2 hours to myself whether I am cleaning or reading or even taking a nap with her. So nice.

When we went to Missouri Rachel's grandpopza got her this awesome Rocking Horse. It's handmade and beautiful. She's had a lot of fun playing on it.
Rachel loves dressing in daddy's clothes!
Rachel just loves wearing my headbands and my flipflops. I think she looks so cute!
