I'm very happy this week and I don't know why. I think I am finally past the scared stage and just looking forward to holding and loving my daughter. I am so very ready to have my body back. I love feeling her wiggle and move but I am ready to have a flat stomach again and to be able to be comfortable again. Other than that I am very happy.
Today I went to my OB appointment and it went really good. Dr. Ulmer said that my blood pressure and weight are good. She also said that my blood sugars are really good and that I now can check them twice a day instead of four times, so that's good. Baby Rachel is also doing really well, she is growing right on target and still keeping me up at night. I'm so happy that this pregnancy is going so well, other than the gestational diabetes. Thank you God so much for blessing me with a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby girl.
