Week 32 - Prenatal Class

Yesterday I went to a prenatal class that my hospital offered it was the first one of two and then I will be going to a breastfeeding class, I'm really looking forward to that one. Josh has been out of town since Friday working on a house, I think he should be home tonight, he really wanted to come to the class but couldn't so his mom offered to come with me instead. I really appreciated that. So the class just covered some pregnancy discomforts that we all go through and then covered signs of preterm labor. After that we talked about what happens when we are admitted into the hospital for delivery (apparently the majority of deliveries at that hospital are induced). It was pretty good info to have. So that was the first hour after that we had a break and then we took a tour of the Labor and Delivery floor. It was really weird walking into the room and seeing how the bed works and realizing that I am going to be in there one day bringing my little girl into the world. I really hope that Josh will be able to come to the class next week. She'll be covering the labor part and I'm sure Josh'll have a gazillion questions to ask, he always does.

After the class Vonda and I went to Walmart and she surprised me by buying us a Graco Travel System (stroller and car seat). It's Winnie the Pooh too. I love it.
