Little Butterball is 5 Months Old!

It seems like I am only going to be able to do updates on Joleen every other month. I have intentions of doing one every month but by the time I get around to it she's already a month older!

These past two months little Joleen has just blossomed! She smiles all the time, her little face just lights up. I love listening to her coo in the morning, it's my favorite way to wake up. There are times during the day that she just "talks," she'll coo for about ten minutes straight telling us about her day. I love that she is already trying to find her voice. There are times when it sounds like she is telling us a story about her day. :) Just makes me smile!

Something that has just made my mommy heart on more than one occasion is watching Rachel and Joleen interact with each other. It is beyond obvious that they love each other. Rachel often says that Joleen is her little sweetheart and she just loves making her baby laugh! Whenever Rachel is doing something next to Joleen, Joleen will watch her intently and smile. I can't wait until they actually play with each other. I loved playing with my sister and I hope that they have the same amazing relationship that my sister, Rachel, and I had.

I love watching Joleen grow and learn. It seems like everyday she is discovering something new. Her main fascination is her hands and her feet. Whenever she's not eating she is chewing on her hands :) she also LOVES playing with her feet. She makes it hard to change her diaper because she is busy holding onto her toes. It's just too cute. She also has to grab onto everything! If Rachel has her sippy cup near Joleen, sissy is busy trying to grab it from her. The other night I had a soda can in my hands and Joleen in my lap and she was busy trying to take it from me and drink it herself. She is trying to be a big girl already! I love this little baby. Joleen has also figured out how to roll over from her tummy to her back, she hasn't done it too many times yet but she can, and she is sooooo very close to figuring out how to roll over from her back to her tummy. She can do it if she is holding onto my fingers to help her out.

I still cannot believe that my little sweetie is FIVE months old already. Time truly does fly by when you are watching your little ones grow.

It was so wonderful seeing your little sweethearts, and being able to love on them and play with them! The videos you posted are adorable! The first one of Joleen 'talking' is my favorite! You have been blessed, my dear! You are a wonderful mommy! I love you!
