Wednesday I had my 36 week check up and I found out that I gained 6 pounds in the last 2 weeks which makes me at the highest I was when I was 40 weeks pregnant with Rachel! Ugh...I knew I felt heavier. It has been so hard to get up and down and to sleep comfortably. My stomach is starting to really stretch. The other day I put on some lotion and I had little tiny red marks all over my tummy which stung for a little bit. Now my tummy really itches so I know it's stretching and I have feeling Joleen is going to be dropping soon too. Also at my appointment I found out that I am already a centimeter dilated but I haven't effaced any yet, so maybe she is going to take her time to get here. The doctor did talk to me about setting up an induction and I said I'd rather wait it out but when I got home Josh kinda wants me to have one so little one will be born this year. I guess at my next appointment I will talk about it a little more with my doctor. I just don't know how I feel about it. It would be nice to have her this year for the tax break but I just don't want to pump myself with unnecessary drugs. I don't know what I am going to do.
This past week I finally was able to get all the baby stuff in Rachel's room. I'm surprised that her little room could hold everything and still have space for her play. I don't have the swing in here though, there definitely is no room for that but we have everything else. Now all we need to get are diapers, wipes and a few more necessities and we are ready for Joleen's arrival! I do still need to pack the hospital bags and Rachel's overnight bag as well. Most likely get that done next week. I still can't believe that Josh and I are so close to being parents of 2 little girls! I can't wait!
