16 Months Old - Christmas In Iowa

Rachel turned 16 months old over Christmas. We were able to go to Iowa to celebrate it with Josh's parents and grand-parents. It was an 11 hour drive up there from Arkansas and Rachel did pretty well over all. She got a little antsy but everyone does on a long road trip. When we arrived she was a little scared of her great-grandma but by the next day she was sitting in her lap. We definitely enjoyed our time up there.Playing on the stairs and with the gifts.Loving on Grandma Roggasch.

The day before Christmas, Rachel and I were playing with some cat toys, the balls with bells in it. We were rolling them back and forth to each other and one time I guess I didn't return them fast enough to her and she popped up and ran to me! I was joking around wondering if her gift to us was her walking. It wasn't quite for Christmas but a week later, New Years. Today she has been walking more than crawling and I think it is absolutely adorable! Josh and I are so excited to see her walking.

This last week she has been fighting a cold and she is cutting 3 molars as well. It hasn't been the best week for us or her. Her little nose is so stuffy and she bites everything because her gums are bothering her. I really hope she starts feeling better soon.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the video.
