2 Months of Joy

Another month has gone by and my baby girl is already getting bigger. Today she started playing with her little toys on her bouncy seat. There are two elephants and a giraffe that she can stare at and play with. Today she started beating them up with her little hands and just having fun making them swing back and forth! Mom bought her a little activity mat and she has a ball just laying there playing with a the cute little things. Rachel is getting more active and awake everyday. I know one day soon she is going to be rolling over and soon crawling!

This last week I got a surprise from my hubby, he and his parents needed to go to California for a job and they decided to let me stay the week with my family while they were there. I have been here since Friday (17th) and have been enjoying every minute. I am so glad that my family has had a chance to finally meet Rachel and spend some time with her. Everybody is so in love with my little girl.

Pretty much right after I got here I was attacked by seansonal allergies. It hasn't been that bad but it hasn't been a bed of roses either. This morning Rachel woke up choke coughing and had a runny nose and runny eyes. At first I thought she had a cold but later on I could tell that she just has an allergy attack like me. For some reason I didn't think that baby's were affected by it like we are. Today she has been kinda fussy and she also vomited her whole bottle this afternoon...it always scares me when that happens. I know she doesn't feel good but this evening we cleaned out her nose and gave her a little bit of Infant Tylenol and now she is sleeping like a little angel. Today just made me realize how much I am not looking forward to having a sick baby. Oh well, I know that that is going to happen no matter what.

Overall, this month has been just another amazing growing period. Everyday I thank God for giving Rachel to us. He just continues to bless Josh and me through our little beauty.

(I'll post pictures when I get home.)
